Surnames: Nihart, Shippee Alice Shippee Nihart and husband James Nihart in photos taken in Orangeville, and Freeport, Stephenson County Illinois. Alice may be Mary Alice Shippee born 1873? They had 2 daughters, Mary and Margie. Mary married George Randall Cole Sr and they move to Utah at some point. Any confirmation, or clarification would be appreciated.

Surnames: Shippee, Nihart My husband's great-grandfather was Cyrus Shippee, sister of Mary Alice. She was born 3 Oct 1871 in Stephenson, Co., IL.
She m. James L. Nihart, 20 Nov 1889. Her parents were William Shippee and Mary Bechtold.

Surnames: KEEHN, MOCHLER or MACHLER, FORD Looking for information on Joseph KEEHN of Germany and his wife, Katherine MOCHLER or MACHLER of Ireland.
Their son Charles Michael KEEHN was born in Freeport, Stephenson County, Illinois on August 11, 1868. Charles married a Mary FORD.
Joseph and Katherine also had a daughter named Mary KEEHN
After marrying Mary FORD, Charles moved to Hawarden, Iowa and started a farm there. Charles' sister Mary also went along.
Any information on the above surnames would be greatly appreciated.

Surnames: KNITTLE NETTLE GILLAPP I am looking for inforamation on Susan Knittle and her family. brothers and sisters, Mary, Daniel, Rebecca, and James. Last name may could be Nettle.
Also looking for information on John Henry Gillapp. His wife was Susan Knittle. Children were Henry, Eliza, James, William, Edward, Emily Rosella, and Charles.

Surnames: Farley, Goff Searching for names of children of the Laurence and Mary Farley family. They, Laurence, Mary and daughter Mary arrived in Stephenson County from County Meath, Ireland in 1853. They farmed in Freeport⁄Waddams Grove area until about 1860 or later when they moved to Dakota Territory. They had several more children.

Surnames: STAAS KOENEKE Looking for info on the names STAAS and KOENEKE (or KONAKA or any of the many other variant spellings). J. (John) Philip KOENEKE married Sophie Dorothy STAAS on 02 September 1868 in Freeport, Illinois. Pastor Hoefer was the minister (what church?). Both were born in Germany, J. Philip arriving in USA in 1858 and Sophie in 1868. I have birth dates for both, but do not have exact birth places, parents, or siblings. Would appreciate any information or leads. Thanks.
