I need to find info. on Dr. Auther D. JACKSON, Born 1873 - Died 1954. Married Hermone H. HOGE, Born 1891 - Died 1985. Their child was Hermone Alice Jackson, born June 25, 1922. I would love any information on these people. Dr. A.D. Jackson started this reseach in my famliy; but didn't seem to feel he needed to put much down about himself.

Horace and Persis (ALLEN) POST moved from Huron Co, OH to Stephenson Co, IL by August, 1845 when they purchased Federal land in section 8, township 26N. In 1850 they were living in Loran Twp, and by 1860 had moved to Florence Twp. with their 3 children, Caroline (17), Selinda (10) and Franklin (8). Sometime between 1860 and 1878, Persis remarried to a man named HOGAN. Perhaps this is actually the David HOGINS, who would have been a neighbor in Loran Twp. Persis died between the time her father's will was written in March, 1878 and January, 1879 when a codicil was added to his will. I wish to confirm Persis Post's second marriage, and find her exact death date and burial information. Any clues appreciated.

In search of parentage of one William Henry Beaber born 01 Mar 1863 in Ridott, Stephenson County, Illinois. I know for a fact that the mother is one Elsie McCloskey born 25 May 1828 in Souix Rapids, Buena Vista, Iowa and that William Henry grew up in Iowa and then moved on to South Dakota then to Colorado. Elsie and Mr. Beaber married 17 Jan 1861 in Stephenson County and that Elsie passed on in Souix Rapids,Iowa 17 Nov 1902. Any help on my search would be great I have many facts and names of the Beaber clan coast to coast!!!!!

I am searching for any information on JOSEPH A. W. DONIHOO, who lived in Freeport in 1850. He gives his occupation as merchant in the 1850 census. His wife was LYDIA R. ADAMS, and three of their children FREDERICK, LOUISA LYDIA all give their birthplace as Illinois. This family's origins are Illinois Virginia (there are other Donihoo's in Stephenson Co from Ireland.) Any hints or leads will be really appreciated.
