JUNE 1997 Queries

FISK. Seek contact with descendants of Mary⁄Polly FISK, widow of Amos FISK(d.1842VT) who died at Lena\Stephenson\IL. While most of children removed to Steamboat.Rock\Hardin\IA, I am hoping that those who remained may have left descendants with knowledge of Mary's mother: Mary REEVES or Mercy BARNES. Father was Sylvestor CRANDALL.

BAKER, HADLOCK, HARTMANN, PENTICOFF Wm. "Tutty" and his wife Elizabeth BAKER are my 3rd gr. grandparents. I am looking for descendants on all their childrens' lines. I am esp. interested in finding a picture of my grandfather Elmus and Miriam (HADLOCK) BAKER. I have quite extensive info on the two Baker families and have been at Baker Days to the reunion. Still seeking other family members. Elmus and Miriam had 3 children, Almeda, Peter,  Ida. Did Ida die young? Elmus then remd. to Iznc Parsons and they had Marietta md. John HARTMANN , Frank E, Charles, Sherman,  Eva May md. Charles PENTICOFF. Some children went to Rock Island⁄Moline , Illinois; Iowa, Indiana and Wisconsin.
