Seeking information about LORENZ, Jacob. On Jan 26, 1905, he left his 2 children, Leona b 6 Nov 1903 (My grandmother), and Ludwig b 4 Sep 1902, at St. Vincent's Orphange in Freeport. (#109 and #110 in the grey book of 1896) I found one Jacob in the 1900 census, but he was not found in the 1910 or the 1880 census. I was not able to check the 1890 census. The one I found was married to STEFFENS, Anna and living with them was Edward, Anna's father. I would appreciate any information about this family.
