Hello, My mother, Nancy Jane SEACHRIST, was born, on October 9, 1924, and raised in Freeport. Her mother was Gladys DORN of Orangeville and her father was Harry J. SEACHRIST of Pearl City. Unfortunately, both of my parents have passed away and I have no other living relatives (that I am aware) with information on my grandmother or grandfather and their respective families. Any information that would help me would be wonderful, as my researching is hampered by the fact that I live in New York. Thank You,

Information on James HICKS, Death record, cemetery record. Thank You. Oct.25,1848 Conneaut Reporter. "Died in Winslow, Stephenson Co. Ill. Oct. 12 James HICKS. The deceased was for more than thirty years a resident of this township, and emigrated to Illinois about three years since. In all the relations of life he shared the respect of our citizens and was among the pioneers who first settled in the vicinity. But he has gone to rest, and swells the list of departed pioneers, whose acts of benevolence and the memory of whom is cherished by the community that feel afflicted in his loss, and do offer their condolence to his bereaved family and relatives."
