Owned hotel⁄stage coach house in Winslow. Bought from Cyrus WOODMAN. Some descriptions of life in Stephenson Co in 30s and 40s. Interesting stuff.

Comments: I am interested in Stephenson County because my ancestor GGrandparents Patrick and Mary GOFF FARLEY homesteaded in Waddams Grove. Their daughter Mary Farley is my grandmother. Mary GOFF Farley died and was buried in the vicinity of Waddams Grove but the grave was never located. My grandmother went back to where she thought the burial site was located but could not find it. They moved on to Elk Point, South Dakota.
